Hola Wine Friends,
I hope everyone is surviving this heat wave. I'm sorry (not sorry) to say that I've missed it entirely because I'm writing to you from the Andes! I'm in the village of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of Peru, at a cool 9000' elevation - adventuring here with an amazing group of girlfriends.
I had a whole newsletter planned detailing my recent visit to Antica Terra but I decided that I wanted to be present and disconnected from technology on this last vacation of the year. So, instead, I'm leaving you with a few photos of Peru - Machu Picchu, the majestic Andean mountains, new friends and - yes - some very cool Peruvian wine I discovered! (which I haven't had the chance to properly research yet but will fill you in on at a later date...)
So stay cool, find a river to dive into and I'll see you next week!
¡Khali lla kachun!
(Cheers in Quechua)
